The Lake District - Skills Weekend

A UK Weekend in the Lake District, specially crafted by our MIAS qualified Skedaddle guides, to help you get the most out of your mountain biking.

Based in Keswick in the very heart of the Lakes, we'll be concentrating on developing the mountain biking skills you already have, we tackle some challenging singletrack, technical rock sections, steep ascents and descents (both technical and non-technical). Added to this we build on your mountain bike knowledge, with in-the-field maintenance and practical off road mountain biking techniques.

All this is done during two great rides in the Lake District - what more can you ask for?!?

Our B&B is just perfect for those who want some home comforts at the end of a the day. Lunches are buffet style...so you won't be cramming a cheese & pickle sandwich in your pack and hoping for the best! and evening meals on Friday & Saturday night are taken in a local pub or restaurant.

Friday is scheduled as an arrival day, with no mountain biking and you can either drive to the weekend location, or take advantage of the free Skedaddle train station pick-up service from Penrith (only 3hrs direct service from London) to avoid Friday night traffic jams.
