Derbyshire Dark Peak - Mountain Bike Weekend

One of our tougher UK mountain bike weekends in prime mountain biking country - located at the start of the Pennines, with Kinder Scout and Mam Tour looking on, we'll be in the heart of the Dark Peak. 

Based near to Edale and Hope Valley we explore the spectacular and challenging terrain the Dark Peak has to offer. Riding is varied with singletrack, open heather moors, tough climbs and rewarding descents.

The famed technical Jacob's Ladder awaits as do the Lord's Seat and the magnificent trails around the Derwent and Ladybower reservoirs.

Our Bed and Breakfast accomodation is one of a selection of quality B&Bs and offers a little luxury at the end of a hard day’s ride. Dinner on Saturday night is taken at the pub or alternatively we try one of the local restaurants. You can drive to the weekend location, or with Edale train station just a short transfer away, why not avoid those Friday night traffic jams and hop on board a train. A member of the Skedaddle team will collect you from the station and return you at the end of the trip in time for your train home.
