Derbyshire Dark Peak

One of our tougher UK mountain bike weekends, located at the start of the Pennines, with Kinder Scout and Mam Tour looking on, this part of the Dark Peak is prime mountain biking country.

Based near to Edale and Hope Valley we explore the spectacular and challenging terrain the Dark Peak has to offer. Riding is varied with singletrack, open heather moors, tough climbs and rewarding descents.

The famed technical Jacob's Ladder awaits as do the Lord's Seat and the magnificent trails around the Derwent and Ladybower reservoirs.

Your accommodation for the weekend is a converted barn, in which you'll be in shared rooms and in which you'll find all the ingredients necessary to ensure you're well looked after during your time with us. Both rides are to and from the accommodation, so no need for transfers and with a superb pub just a stroll away in the village then no doubt we'll be popping in to chat about the day's ride and to discuss the Sunday ride to come.

All meals are included within the price of the weekend (as is alcohol during the evening meals) and as usual the Skedaddle support vehicle will be at hand with snacks, water supplies and your picnic lunch.

As with all Skedaddle UK Weekends, we offer a free train staion collection/drop-off with the closest station that of Buxton.
